In the bestselling novel Tschick by Wolfgang Herrndorf there is a very short moment in which the main characters look at the stars and wonder if there might be two aliens somewhere looking back at them also smoking weed a the same time.
At one point in 2015 LUMATIC was in talks to provide visual effects for the film adaptation of that book. It got my imagination started and despite being not very good at it, I painted some rough character ideas.
I have not watched it but as far as I know this scene didn’t make it into the film. The book is very good by the way.
